But lets be honest, election fraud is just another institution of corruption that we have to deal with on a daily basis. The 1960 election was won due to election fraud, and now we have Al Franken declared the winner after a massive 8-month scam job. Thanks a lot Minnesota, you elected Franken, but the jokes on us.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This system where ballots are counted in secret and are recounted until the loser is declared the winner is nothing more than Iranian-style election fraud. We’re so sure that Ahmadinejahd won that election fair and square…. The only difference between our election system and the Iranian one is that we actually pretend to count our votes. They don’t they just declare winners.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This whole thing was so crooked from the beginning but I strangely knew how it would turn out. The Democrats couldn’t steal their election against Bush in Florida and they were NOT about to lose this time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It’s pretty obvious what happened here.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Franken lost fair and square but it was so close the Franken camp saw an opportunity to rig the results in his favor by “recounting” ONLY in areas which were heavily Democratic. Oh my! What a big surprise! They “found” more votes (cough cough…created) for Franken! With the media leaning hard left these days it was pretty easy to censor the objections of Norm Colman from ever really getting his message out there. And the Supreme Court of Minnesota? Come on! They love that guy! He’s so funny!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why didn’t they just declare him the winner from the get go? I mean why bother counting votes at all? Why not become like Iran? Why not model our government after theirs? Oh yeah! Don’t worry, we’re getting there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The sad thing is that the Iranian people are FIGHTING for their rights. They have no weapons but they have will and they will not be silenced. About $100k to be more accurate. Apparently Rep. &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Markey&lt;/span&gt; along with Speaker Nancy &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Pelosi&lt;/span&gt; have invested heavily in the "green" market. This means that for their investments to pay off they need to make sure that the green industry can make money.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;Introducing&lt;/span&gt; the Cap and Trade Bill!!! This bill makes it impossible for companies to be profitable unless they are "green." It will assess penalties and taxes to their carbon footprints. These new taxes will kill business and prevent the economy from rebounding. But They DON'T Care because they will get rich. &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;They'll&lt;/span&gt; get filthy stinking rich off these green investments because they will have an uneven playing field.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The best part about this bill is that they call it a jobs bill. However it will most likely ship jobs overseas where the labor is cheaper and the environmental regulations are less strict. That means less jobs for Americans! Way to go! As long as you get rich who cares right?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This isn't about being green! It's about control and money!  And the Democrats are perfectly happy with that control and money so long as THEY have it.  If the GOP had this bill they would be &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;blomumficating&lt;/span&gt; about how the GOP was doing this for money and power!  But that's exactly what this is about! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Think about it!  How does limiting emissions (i.e. production) and raising taxes (assessing penalties) on businesses make sense in THIS economy?  What about all the people working in the coal, oil, and natural gas industry who will lose their jobs because of this?  How about the fact that every green job created by the government will &lt;a href="http://www.heartland.org/publications/environment%20climate/article/25506/Green_Job_Efforts_Kill_22_for_Every_One_Created.html"&gt;kill more than TWO private sector jobs?&lt;/a&gt;  How does this make sense? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If it doesn't make sense then we need to kill it, not sign it into law. I'd hate to be the guy who doesn't seem to care that two important American icons are dead, but this stuff that's going on in Iran is more important to me.  This isn't people dying of heart attacks and cancer; this is people who are being killed by tyrannical governments.  &lt;br /&gt;It's sad to me that more people care that Michael Fucking Jackson is dead but people are being MURDERED in Iran with clubs and axes and guns.  It's a fucking disgrace that more people care about Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.  I don't want to hear anymore about it today.&lt;br /&gt;It's pathetic that all the news agencies are now going to run all this coverage on Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett when there are people who got real problems.  &lt;br /&gt;Why am I so locked in on Iran?  Lets just say that I think OUR government is perfectly capable of this kind of tyranny.  If you don't believe me then lets go back in time to Ruby Ridge.  Remember when federal agents shot the woman holding a baby?  Remember how they shot their son?  Why?  Because they guy had some illegal rifles?  He wasn't hurting anybody but the federal government decided that is was worth kiling a whole family over. &lt;br /&gt;Remember Waco?  Remember what that was all about?  Was it about the wacky cult?  No it was about guns.  Again the Branch Davidians weren't doing anything to anybody but we felt that it was worth killing all those people over some assault rifles, which according to the constitution they were perfectly within their rights to do own.  But what do I know? &lt;br /&gt;Our government is out of control with spending and trying to take over people's lives with nationalized healthcare, auto and banking czars, restricting pay and trying to regulate every aspect of our lives.  When are we going to understand?  Iran? Yeah THAT'S GOING TO BE US!!!  Maybe one day WE'RE going to be the ones on YouTube asking for help from other countries.  Maybe we're going to be the ones who are forced to die because the government has no more health care funds for us. That's just a bad word in Democrat land.... Is it just unable to fulfill its promise to attack the U.S. if we interfered with their weapons programs? Do we call their bluff?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As a veteran I can assure you that calling another country's bluff is the most terrifying thing you can do. On one hand you have great intelligence telling you that you've got the upper hand, but on the other hand there is always that level of uncertainty. I can imagine that for President Obama it is even more a daunting task since he is not exactly in-tune with his military side yet. But that's not a dig on the President, it's just a statement of fact. Bush didn't have a handle on the military this early into his presidency either (or ever some would argue... but I digress).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If the U.S. shoots down the North Korean missiles, there could be further tension on the Korean peninsula and a war that was put on pause 50 years ago could suddenly break out again. The level of intelligence uncertainty as it pertains to North Korea is even more exasperated since it is the single most dangerous spot for a U.S. Intelligence agent. Over 7000 U.S. agents (American, South and North Korean in nationality) have disappeared since the Korean Conflict ended. There is no way to know for sure what the North Koreans are planning to do.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One thing is for sure, we probably can shoot down anything that comes our way. The real problem is how to deal with the communist country on its own turf. An undertaking that was proved very difficult (or impossible) in the 1950's.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Diplomacy has proven over the last three administrations to be ineffective but no one has ever called for all out war against the country as that could prove fatal as China is their biggest supporter. So for those who cannot mourn her courageous life, we will mourn for them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Her friends and family describe her as "full of joy," "A beam of light," and "Angel of Freedom."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The image of her brutal murder by Iranian State Police has bolstered support for protesters &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;as&lt;/span&gt; they speak out against this &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;senseless&lt;/span&gt; killing even though they are not legally allowed to mourn her bloody death.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Neda was gunned down during protests in the capital. You can see videos and photos of it all over twitter and &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;youtube&lt;/span&gt;. They show her &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;bleeding&lt;/span&gt; from the mouth and nose as her friends try to stop the &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;blood loss&lt;/span&gt;. The most moving part is when her music teacher is holding her in his arms begging her to stay alive and to hold on. "Neda, don't be afraid. Neda, stay with me. Neda stay with me!”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.foxnews.com/photoessay/0,4644,7500,00.html" _extended="true"&gt;Click here for photos. (WARNING: Graphic)&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;She was very fond of traveling and had been to Dubai, Turkey and even Thailand. She apparently gave up studying in Tehran in order to become a tour guide and possibly travel with Iranian Students abroad. Her music Teacher Hamid &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Panahi&lt;/span&gt; described her as an accomplished singer who had taken up piano lessons with him.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Her parents asked her not to go protests but she was so angered by the injustice that she was compelled to go.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Around 6:30 pm Neda, her piano teacher &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Panhi&lt;/span&gt; and two others were stuck in traffic as they went towards the protest. At one point they got out of the car to get some air when they heard a distinct "Crack." Neda &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Soltan&lt;/span&gt; was on the ground.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The L.A. Times quotes &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Panahi&lt;/span&gt;, "we were stuck in traffic and we got out and stood to watch, and without her throwing a rock or anything they shot her. It was just one bullet."&lt;br /&gt;"I'm burning, I'm burning!" Were her final words.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;She was rushed to the hospital where the doctors tried to save her life but she was reported as dead on arrival. Cut down by a brutal regime only because she wanted freedom and honesty in the government.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Mehdi&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Khalaji&lt;/span&gt;, a senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near Eastern Affairs, told &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_11" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;FOXNews&lt;/span&gt;.com that Neda has become "one of the pillars of this movement now," and the bloody images of her dying in the street are its "main icons and symbols."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To add insult to injury the Iranian government has forbidden all &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_12" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;mosques&lt;/span&gt; in Iran from holding any kind of ceremony, or vigil, not even a &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_13" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;eulogy&lt;/span&gt; for the fallen woman. Her own family was denied a ceremony and &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_14" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;funeral&lt;/span&gt; then they tried to hold one in Northern Tehran. "Grave consequences" awaited those who gathered. Outrageous.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"They were threatened that if people wanted to gather there the family would be charged and punished," &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_15" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Samsami&lt;/span&gt; told &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_16" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;FOXnews&lt;/span&gt;.com.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ayatollah &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_17" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;Khomeini&lt;/span&gt; is being blamed at least in part for her murder. This is what happens when a country has supreme leaders and such.  The only thing the guardian council was guarding was its own ass.   In a totalitarian regime anything is &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;possible&lt;/span&gt; if the government says it is.  Millions of Ballots can be counted in a matter of minutes,  fraud can be determined in the same amount of time.  With a wave of a magic wand this all happens to the wonderment &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;to &lt;/span&gt;the people.  WOW!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know that this is not a &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;surprise&lt;/span&gt; to anyone, but this is the place that WE are headed.  In this country we now have Czars.  We have people with massive regulatory powers who were never elected and serve at the pleasure of the President.  These Czars can say or do anything and the people have no power to remove them from office or even check their work.  We have Bank Czars, Auto czars, bailout czars, pay czars... I think there's 8 in all but whatever right.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Look we can all sit here and believe that Obama was "Forced into these actions by the Bush administration" or we can believe the truth. And if you haven’t seen the reports and the ads and the literature, then it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out that pumping smoke into your lungs isn’t good for you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But for some reason, despite all the warning signs against it, millions of people choose to smoke every day. This is a personal choice and even teens know that it’s bad for them… hell that’s probably why most teens start smoking anyway. But nevertheless kids do it as well as adults. There isn’t much more you can do when it comes to smoking. We have truth campaigns (which tell a lit of mistruths… but I digress) and all kids of other ways to educate people about the harmful effects of smoking. Enough already! If people want to smoke, let them smoke.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh that’s right, smokers are being blamed for the high cost of healthcare. Never mind that GOVERNMENT is proven to be the biggest problem in the health care battle. Lets blame smokers! They’re an easy scapegoat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The problem is that with a looming national healthcare service in the midst this is just a taste of how the government is going to regulate your life under the auspices of reducing health care costs. First it’s something like smoking which most people don’t do, and a lot won’t have a problem if it goes away. But then they will turn their eyes toward something else… maybe McDonalds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then it’s people who don’t exercise. Or people who eat excessively fatty foods. Soon we’ll have government sponsored heart monitors implanted in us that will notify the Department of Health and Human Services that we don’t exercise enough and that our universal health care coverage has been revoked. Too bad many Iranians will believe this. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Personally I think it would have been money well spent, but in light of our nearly $2 Trillion deficite this year, probably not. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;It's better this way because the people are really doing this! The people want to be free to chose their own leadership. They want to throw off the Ayatollahs and their iron-fisted grip on the people! They need something from us. We have a brutal police state cracking down on the protests at every turn and (according to the Iranian government) killing at least 17 protestors in the process. What are the Iranians protesting? Are they protesting the results of a single election? No.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They are protesting the Ayatollahs! In reality the Iranian people are sick of being offered “choices” instead they want actual choices. The Ayatollahs set the real policy by approving candidates. You can rest assured that no candidate can be approved without following the Ayatollahs policies. So if the Iranians want a free election they must remove the Ayatollahs&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a twisted way we have a very similar situation here in the U.S. We’re told that we have two choices in government: Republicans and Democrats. Both are run by the political elite. Both conduct themselves in secret back room meetings and push policy that is contrary to the wishes of the American People. Yet we’re told that these are our only choices. Red or Blue and there are no other colors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Maybe Iran isn’t lagging behind us in the philosophy of democracy. Maybe we are looking at the future of the U.S. Maybe we’re going to be in the streets one day getting beaten down by police simply because we want freedom. It's a great book! It really gets to the heart of some of the major problems that we are facing right now including the runaway government spending, over regulation, and other insane things out government is doing to destroy us.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The great thing is that both parties ar killing us and we support them. We give them our money and time and blood, and sweat for what? I don't know. So they can hose us? Yay us!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Get this book and read it. Well actully read the 5000 year leap first. THEN read this one! A nation of codependents?  Why must the government solve every problem that we have?  Why is it that this administration’s answer to everything is more government regulation and control?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A couple of random concerns from me today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The President is looking to give the &lt;a href="http://www.bizjournals.com/losangeles/stories/2009/06/15/daily29.html"&gt;Federal Reserve MORE power&lt;/a&gt;.  This violates the Constitution which states that congress has the power to make currency.  The Fed is a private bank and we are giving it regulatory powers.  Of course there will be a government committee sitting over the Fed to watch it headed by none other than Tax Cheat Timothy Geithner.  Yes! Good old Tax Cheat Tim will be making sure the Fed is following the law or whatever its supposed to do…&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Government Healthcare is in the works.  &lt;a href="http://www.opposingviews.com/articles/research-study-shows-gov-t-health-care-more-expensive-than-private"&gt;Here’s a little article that shows you that the government is responsible for the high cost of healthcare&lt;/a&gt;.  In fact it is so responsible that it outweighs the cost of uninsured people not paying for their healthcare.  But government is now going to fix it by mandate!  Here’s a question.  If the government mandates something that is already in short supply what do you think will happen?  Could it become more expensive?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We put our faith in corrupt politicians who market themselves as saviors.  Have we lost faith in OURSELVES?  The individual reigns supreme in the United States!  Why have we lost touch with that?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Putting our trust in government will only lead to shackles and oppression. It's unfortunate that this will only be a 24 hour propaganda cycle. We'll have Good morning America, and a National Health care Q&amp;amp;A in the blue room. Does anyone think for one second that there is going to be ANY tough questions on this &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;health care&lt;/span&gt; thing? I doubt it. Most likely there will be two kinds of questions first there will be planted questions that the Administration Officials can knock out of the park, and then a few questions where people ask "what will I get? What will the government do for me?" These &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;whiny&lt;/span&gt; excuses for Americans will be first in line to get a government handout even if they don't need one. But we're all expected to take the bullet on this because there are 45 million people uninsured.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What won't be in this Q&amp;amp;A? How about how it will add $1 Trillion to our &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;national&lt;/span&gt; debt? That's not what it will cost, no. That's how much will go unfunded after the tax hikes and new taxes on health benefits. &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;That's&lt;/span&gt; $1 Trillion in that the future generations are going to be on the hook for. But since they're already on the hook for $10 Trillion after Bush got done and it'll be $20 Trillion after Obama is done what the hell?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And the best part of all this, is that while we get these 45 million people insured, 37 million people will lose their insurance because it will be too expensive for them or their employers to keep the health benefits. That's another question you won't find during this little propaganda session. $1 Trillion in extra debt in order to insure a whopping 9 million people...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another question that won't be on this little Q&amp;amp;A is how after this massive new insurance program is instituted it will pay for people's insurance who make over $200k!!! What? No! Yes. It's true. This plan will help people pay for health care who need &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;absolutely&lt;/span&gt; no help. OK it's not quite that simple. A few examples are like a family of 4 making $110k would get government help paying for insurance. &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Octo&lt;/span&gt;-mom gets hers paid for even if she makes $203k. John and Kate +8 gets help even if they make $222k. This is &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;absolutely&lt;/span&gt; retarded. People who make this kind of money aren't going to have problems finding &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;health care&lt;/span&gt;. Remember that families that make $259k per year are rich enough to afford tax hikes but people making $222k per year are so poor they need subsidies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The kicker is this. People who make less that $33k WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;NATIONAL&lt;/span&gt; HEALTH INSURANCE!!!!!!! HA HA HA! It's so insane. We're paying for health insurance for people who don't need the help, but we're stiffing the people who &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;supposedly&lt;/span&gt; need the help the MOST!!! This is change you can believe in? HA!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Help the rich and screw the poor! I though that was the Republican M.O. not the Democrats who look out for the poor and down trodden.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh wait, that's right. The expansion of Medicaid will be considered in another bill. Considered! This is insane and heartless! It will destroy the private insurance industry and force people on to this back-&lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;asswords&lt;/span&gt; system. Where the federal government will choose what is best for us.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Think about this new Consumer Protection Agency that Obama has just created. In the speech he gave he said that it would review products and choose which is best for consumers. You may think I'm crazy but this is coming. You can thank both the GOP and the &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_11" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Dems&lt;/span&gt; for this stuff.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Big government can't solve problems! Did it keep GM and &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_12" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;Chrysler&lt;/span&gt; out of bankruptcy with those hundreds of billions of dollars in bailouts? Nope. You think &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_13" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;health care&lt;/span&gt; is gonna get cheaper with trillions of dollars in tax payer money?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But does all this mean that the media is state controlled? Yes. ABC is running propaganda for Obama. NBC, MSNBC, and CNBC are also running propaganda for the Obama administration. Why? Well GE got some bailout money. That means they officially have to play by the government's rules. GE has invested billions in healthcare products including devloping the system for a nation-wide health care database. GE wants those contracts. Lucky for GE, that it owns NBC, MSNBC, and CNBC!! And how nice of those companies to be running positive stories on Obama and his health care plan. The DMV represents to me some of the worst things about government.  There are 200 people in line and 3 tellers, with rotten attitudes waiting on you… but I digress&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I realized that I still get a little huffy when people bash the GOP.  I get to thinking something like “hey those are my people!”  But if I think about it…  The Republicans in Washington are not my people.  They don’t know anything about me and for the most part what it’s like to be an average citizen. Most of them voted for the TARP and the bailouts when Bush was in office, but now that a Democrat is in office they suddenly find principles and a backbone?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It must be easy to be the minority party since you can say no without there being any real consequences.  You can stand up there like John Kerry and tell people you voted against the war!  Or that you are against the stimulus package!  But I’m sure we can agree that if a republican had come up with that stimulus bill then they would have voted for it. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If John McCain were president and he asked them to shut down GITMO they would have done it.  When the democrats were the minority party they railed against the GOP for being in bed with big business and giving out no-bid contracts to Halliburton.  But now that they’re in power they are nationalizing big businesses, giving them bailout money and are well on their way to giving no-bid contracts to GE, who just so happens to own NBC, MSNBC, and CNBC which have been the most pro-Democrat/ Pro-Obama news agencies on TV.  Hmmm.  Both parties guilty but both point fingers at the other party.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is the folly of political parties.  It takes the argument of principle away and we end up focusing on D’s and R’s like its a family feud, a race riot, or a damn holy war.  We can’t even agree on principle but we just know the other team is the enemy. Their government set up a phony election and gave them a phony result. We don’t need to go into the logistical impossibilities of counting 44 million votes in a matter of minutes, that’s barely the point. What must be noted is that the people of Iran were outraged by this and started to (rightfully so) protest in anger. The Iranian government first responded by trying to beat their people into submission and then, when that didn’t work, by shooting them into submission. I am proud to say though they have not been subdued as of yet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If we as a country really respect freedom we should support the people of Iran as they rise up against their theocratic oppressors. Our government should be offering its support for a truly democratic Iran which is ruled by laws, not religions, not kings or clerics, but just laws that protect the rights of all, including women and children. Our government does not seem to be doing this, instead they are enacting caution.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It’s hard to blame someone for being cautious, but at what point do we stop playing the “let’s see who wins” game and start taking real sides. If we play this game as we did in Iraq in the 1980’s and 1990’s then the totalitarian regime will be able to repress the democratic momentum as was done in Iraq when we offered our support and then stayed our hand at the last moment. Thousands of Kurds were killed and we did nothing for a decade. It’s no wonder that so many nations feel as they do about the United States. We’re all talk. And when we do act its usually a decade or two too late.&lt;br /&gt;But now it’s worse. We’re not even talking. We’re not even offering our support to the counterrevolution in Iran. It needs support. It needs to know that we are with them. They are encouraged by the results in Iraq. And a long train of offenses has once again been suffered by the people at the hands of the government that was once supposed to protect and defend them. It is our right and our duty to throw off this system in which the people’s rights, the security of our nation, and our economic liberties are not protected nor even considered. To prove this, let the facts once again be shown to the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have refused to honor the rule of law, instead they have cared only for political pandering and rhetoric which frenzy the people to the support of their unjust causes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have passed bills tainted with thousands of unneeded earmarks resulting in financially irresponsible political favors for the congress but no help to the American People.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They pass bills without reading them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They make law in closed-door meetings; shut out from public scrutiny.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have obtained power in the private sector using taxpayer money with no intention of relinquishing that power, even after the so called crisis is over. Instead, they regulate it into bankruptcy and strip it of its right to self-govern and sell positions in the private sector to their political friends for campaign donations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have used government contracts paid for by the taxpayers in order to intimidate the owners of media companies into reporting favorably on their misdeeds in the hopes of garnering the support of the people so that they can continue to misuse taxpayer money and abuse the citizens of the United States.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have used financial and economic emergencies as an excuse and a means to invade and usurp the rights of the people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have funded organizations that are known to commit election fraud, intimidation and coercion to elect and re-elect themselves and their political friends.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have refused to protect and defend the borders of this country while criminals, drug dealers and human smugglers infect our population, murder our people and cripple our standard of living through deflated wages and siphoning American money to other countries; while at the same time making it tedious and stressful to legally enter this country with endless and useless regulations all in the name of safety.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have placed activist judges in areas of importance who violate the very Constitution they are sworn to uphold by creating policy and law from the bench in order to please their own political ideologies or that of their masters who placed them in their positions of power.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have created useless, money-sucking agencies which fulfill redundant missions and cost more than twice what they were projected to cost.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have abused our military first by undermining their mission, their morale, their security nd their lives for the purposes of political gain.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have endeavored to make the citizens of the United States subordinate to other laws outside of the Constitution by signing treaties which are deliberately designed to undermine the American people and way of life.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have housed the United Nations, a body of corrupt vipers and hate-mongering murderers, on our shores under the guise of peace.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have held themselves above the law and safe from justice when they have committed crimes against the people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have regulated our industry in such a manner that it cannot compete with foreign trade.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For taxing citizens and businesses alike with obscene and never-ending taxes and confusing tax codes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For burdening the citizens with an endless bureaucracy of incompetent federal employees who care not for the business of the people and make it impossible to get anything done quickly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For failing to enforce or even follow their own laws with the full expectation of compliance by the citizens.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For nullifying legal contracts in the private sector.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For failing to protect the rights of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For refusing the private citizen of the right to carry military arms and form lawful militias as per the Constitution.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For separating us by race, religion, gender, nationality and creed, pitting race against race, and man against woman, religion against religion and claiming political victory at the people's expense.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The have endeavored to pass laws that were knowingly in such contrast to the will of the people and would burden them in such a gross manner that the people had to all but revolt before the laws were defeated.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have betrayed the American trust and violated the Constitution by creating a Federal Reserve which is a private bank that controls our currency, prints our money and controls our interest rates.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have indebted us to foreign countries and shackled us with debt that is so high that no generation alive or the ones who have yet to be born will ever see the American people debt free.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have burdened the people with high energy costs by refusing access to sources of energy here and instead mortgage the American people to the Kings and Tyrants of the Middle East.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have created an entitlement culture which enslaves minorities and the poor to the government.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In every stage of these oppressions we have strived for resolution through new elections of representatives, senators, and presidents only to be answered with political rhetoric and inaction. A government that is thus marked with self-serving corruption and oppression can only be labeled tyrannical and thus unfit to govern a free people.Nor have our political parties been able to address the situation. Every two years we volunteer our time, energy, diligence and money to the causes of our parties and are rewarded every time with more corruption, greed and control by the government. We have had out liberties slowly chipped away by Congress and Presidents alike and every two years we reward them with the honor of office and pay them salaries as if to thank them for oppressing us. We appeal to God and to the people of this nation to free us of our political oppressors, the two-party system, and the politicians who keep us a people divided. We absolve ourselves from the political parties and the system of abuse that each enjoy over us. We cling to logic, freedom, liberty and all the risks and rewards that go with them. Those issues are generally summed up with two points&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.  The Campaign Finance Reform act- because it puts a limit on free speech&lt;br /&gt;2.  The "Amnesty Bill"- because it would have let illegals become citizens for $5k.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We needs to get off our high horses and see the big picture.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt; and Hillary are going to raise taxes while McCain is for keeping them low&lt;br /&gt;2.  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;Obillary&lt;/span&gt; are for retreat and surrender in the War on Terror while McCain will most likely crush the enemy.&lt;br /&gt;3.  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;Obillary&lt;/span&gt; will Socialize our great nation and create misery while McCain is pro Capitalism.&lt;br /&gt;4. In the room where he was found there was the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;Ricin&lt;/span&gt;,  several firearms, and of course an Anarchist's Cookbook (or "textbook" as the news is saying).  Yet authorities are still saying that there is no reason to believe that this man was in anyway connected to terrorism.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Has anybody heard of Tim &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;McVeigh&lt;/span&gt;?  No? Gee, you know HE wasn't a &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;Muslim&lt;/span&gt; man either yet he managed to blow up the Federal Building in Oklahoma City and kill about 300 people including &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;children&lt;/span&gt;.  I'm guessing that was not a terrorist act either.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;problem&lt;/span&gt; with our government?  Why can we not call things what they are?  A terrorist is a terrorist.  A person who has entered our country illegally is an illegal alien.  A racist is a racist.  A criminal is a criminal. Why are we so caught up with calling something other than it really is?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I say that this guy who is in the hospital needs to be arrested and sent to &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;GITMO&lt;/span&gt; ASAP.  What the hell is he going to do with &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10"&gt;Ricin&lt;/span&gt; besides put it in the air to intentionally kill many many people with it?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You should hear the authorities give this man a break calling it "more related to a criminal act than a terrorist one."  BS!!!  If the man were Muslim this would be a terrorist act.  Whites can be terrorists too.  Lets just put this guy away right now. He was &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;also&lt;/span&gt; telling the truth.  What is so wrong with that?  Why is it that liberals are the only ones who have freedom of speech in this country?  And why did John McCain attack Cunningham for telling the truth about &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt;?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is worse?  Calling someone a hack or having that hack as the President and passing his socialist agenda to the point where we become this &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;sissified&lt;/span&gt;,  tofu-eating,  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;unoffended&lt;/span&gt;,  leftist nation?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Of course that would be the people of our nation.  The &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;government&lt;/span&gt; would of course be this heavy handed,  tax-crazy,  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;oppressive&lt;/span&gt; authoritarian-style regime in which we as Americans would have no choice.  No choice in what we say, what we eat, what we put into our bodies, what hear on the radio, what we see on T.V. or anything else.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Everything that could possibly be seen as "bad" would be banned.  Soda (or pop if you cal lit that), red meat, gasoline... ah the list goes on and on.  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;Obama's&lt;/span&gt; slogan should be that we're heading into a Brave New World.  If you &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;haven't&lt;/span&gt; read that book.... well I suggest you read it.  I doubt the government schools in this country every REALLY educated you enough to let you read it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So anyway John McCain had to apologize for the disparaging remarks made against his &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;colleague&lt;/span&gt;.  BS!!  I would never call a socialist my &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10"&gt;colleague&lt;/span&gt;.  More like my enemy. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt; has this game figured out even though he is a newcomer in Washington.  He does all the dirty tricks he can and there is nothing you can do to him because he takes "the high road."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If he's a hack then say it.  If he's a liberal then say it.  If he is a socialist then say it. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When Americans have no voice and no choice then we will understand the folly of electing &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_12"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt;.  But then of course it will be too late. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I pains me to vote for McCain because he apparently doesn't get it that just because &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_13"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt; pretends to play nice it doesn't mean that he's not doing every dirty trick in the shadows.  McCain will surely be stunned when the media turn on him like rabid dogs.  Hell, they have already started to do so!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Like I said before. It is not too late for McCain to move back to the right.  If he does so convincingly and STAYS that way then he has a good chance at &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_14"&gt;winning&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But I caution you to get out and vote for your congressmen and senators as well even if you don't plan on voting McCain. The Colorado Legislature passed a bill that basically makes it easier and actually &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;encourages&lt;/span&gt; trial lawyers to bring up high-priced lawsuits against doctors and health care providers. So, instead of our &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;benevolent&lt;/span&gt; government helping the citizens, its actually hurting them...again. There's a shocker!&lt;br /&gt;So I guess in a year or two our governor will start campaigning that we need to "bring down the cost of health care" with more government intervention and possibly a mandate that health care providers bring down their costs "or else." Or else what? Who knows? You know I have often said that I'm not cynical enough to believe that the government especially liberals just want to control us and will do anything they have to to do it. But I am beginning to believe that is exactly true now.&lt;br /&gt;The way I see it is this:&lt;br /&gt;Government will do everything in its power to make &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;health care&lt;/span&gt; cost rise. Then they will come in to "save the day" with some grandiose state run &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;health care&lt;/span&gt; system to "ease the costs of health care."&lt;br /&gt;It makes me sick. It makes me sick because people will &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;actually&lt;/span&gt; believe that the reason that cost are rising is because they are being gouged by the insurance companies. John McCain believes that he cannot win unless he can convince the American People that the Iraq War Policy is working.  That's just do stupid.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. First of all it's rather obvious that the Iraq policy IS working.  If it wasn't it would be all over the news.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Then of course there's this whole philosophy of trying to convince the American people of this or that.  Look if you want to win the presidential election then you need to take your cues from Ronald Reagan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Conservative principles win elections.  Think Reagan. Think the 1994 mid terms.  Contract with America.  These are ideas that win.  There is no reason to be anything OTHER THAN CONSERVATIVE if you want to win elections.  Conservatives don't have to "reach &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;across&lt;/span&gt; the aisle" to get things done. You see according to &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;FinAid&lt;/span&gt;.org tuition increases at this rate normally which is &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;about&lt;/span&gt; twice that of regular inflation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Tuition Inflation&lt;br /&gt;A good rule of thumb is that tuition rates will increase at about twice the general inflation rate. During any 17-year period from 1958 to 2001, the average annual tuition inflation rate was between 6% and 9%, ranging from 1.2 times general inflation to 2.1 times general inflation. On average, tuition tends to increase about 8% per year. An 8% college inflation rate means that the cost of college doubles every nine years. For a baby born today, this means that college costs will be more than three times current rates when the child matriculates in college. As teachers get older their paychecks get bigger&lt;br /&gt;3.Pressure on Universities to be LESS productive&lt;br /&gt;4. Government subsidizes the problem with Financial Aid making demand for college grow&lt;br /&gt;5. Our kids are just smart, motivated and qualified to get into college. We have on one side the most liberal senator in the US Senate vs the renegade war hero. For conservatives the outlook does not look so great. Our nominee for president is a man who spent the last 8 years giving us the proverbial finger. At least that is the consensus. Many say that we have to choose between a Liberal and someone who isn't conservative.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The reality of the situation is this: John McCain is conservative despite his past. And when he stands on stage next to &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;Barack&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;Hussein&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt; he is going to look like a g.d. founding father. &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt; is a socialist with a silver tongue and a steel knife that is just moments away from your back. He is shaking your right hand while his left is grabbing your wallet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can't believe that people are actually saying that there is no difference between McCain or &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt; getting elected.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think the people that say this kind of stuff are just frustrated that we didn't get Ronald Reagan. That's cool I understand. He was my favorite President too. The issue I have is that now we have a candidate that was not a poster boy for us for the last eight years. Fine. I get it. But lets look at this from a new perspective. John McCain was loved by the media and he loved them. Then all of the sudden the other day he gets nailed with this lie on the front page of the NY Times. It had no sources. No evidence just lies and &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;innuendo&lt;/span&gt;. I think it's a wake up call for McCain.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;McCain is also still hurting from the way the Immigration Bill was defeated. Again a wake-up Call.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And now it looks like his own bill, the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;Campaign&lt;/span&gt; Finance Reform, is biting him in the butt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wake-up time John. Come back to the light. Step away from the Dark Side...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I actually believe that when you compare &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt; and McCain the differences are so vast and striking that one HAS to see them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One thing is for sure, John McCain is no more liberal than George W. Bush. With that in mind we have to ask ourselves is all this worth it? Is it worth throwing this election away in spite and then hope that we can garner up a Ronald Reagan in four years? I say it is not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The best way for us to preserve what is left of our nation and to build toward restoring the principles of individual liberty and responsibility is to put conservatives in Washington and to keep putting them there.
